Data We Store

• Your hang sessions, records, and settings are stored locally on your device.
• Data may be included in your iCloud device backup if you have iCloud backups enabled (managed by Apple).

HealthKit & Motion Data

If you grant Health access, Hang Habit:

• Writes workouts and active energy to Apple Health.
• Reads active energy and heart rate to improve calorie estimates.

This data is handled by Apple's HealthKit framework and is subject to Apple's privacy policies. We do not upload Health data to our servers.

The app also uses Motion & Fitness sensors on Apple Watch to detect hang sessions. Motion data is processed on device.

Anonymous Analytics

Hang Habit collects anonymous usage data to understand app performance and improve features. This includes:

• Session duration and exercise type
• Feature usage and error events
• Device model, OS version, and app version

We use TelemetryDeck , a privacy-focused analytics provider based in the EU. TelemetryDeck does not store IP addresses, and all identifiers are anonymized by hashing. Learn more: telemetrydeck.com/privacy .

Product Feedback

Hang Habit lets you send feedback to the developer from the Labs tab and from Settings. When you tap Send, the note you write and a small amount of context are sent to the developer through a private Slack channel. That context is: which experiment the feedback is about (when you send it from an experiment), a thumbs up or down if you chose one, your app version and build, your iOS version, and whether you are running a TestFlight beta or the App Store release.

Nothing is sent unless you explicitly tap Send. Please do not include personal or sensitive information in feedback, because it goes straight to the developer.

A copy of any note you send is also kept locally on your device (the most recent 50) so you can review what you have sent. That local copy never leaves your device.

Web Content

Some screens display web content hosted by us. When those pages load, our hosting provider may receive standard web logs (e.g., IP address, user agent) as part of normal web hosting operations.

Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data for advertising. We do not use third-party ad trackers.

Your Choices

• You can decline Health access; calorie estimates may be unavailable or less accurate.
• You can disable iCloud backups in iOS settings if you do not want app data included in device backups.

Children's Privacy

Hang Habit is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy periodically. The latest version will always be posted on our website.
